Shared Power Bank Manufacturers

In this guide, we break down the full range of power bank suppliers including models, pricing, and more.

It’s important to remember that the key to success in the power bank industry is finding good locations.

Therefore, you should pick a manufacturer that will not only supply you with good machines, but also assist you

in understanding where to place your power banks.

We have tested over a dozen suppliers, with different battery quality, designs, and services. All of these suppliers

have the required safety standards and certificates.

If you have questions about starting a power bank rental company, feel free to reach out to s for a full product

catalog from any of these suppliers.

The Hardware

This power bank station is easily recognizable due to its singular

design which resembles an Apple device. Chargers Direct also

provides a fully customizable screen, battery and even the hardware

itself is branded for each client.

The user experience is purely ‘tap and go’ with card or phone tap.

This means no QR code and no app is needed by the user. Bank cards,

Apple Pay, Google Pay are all accepted. The battery is 7800 mAh and

can be charged over 1000 times before replacement.

Finally, the screen is static, not LCD, which minimizes electricity

usage in the venue (sometimes a concern for bar and restaurant

owners).

Finally, as a power bank machine with a distinctive design, Chargers Direct is one of the few suppliers that has prioritized

design over ease of manufacturing.

The Software

Every supplier provides software to track the status and performance of the machine, across thousands of locations. The

price for this service varies between suppliers from $20 per machine annually ($20,000 if you have 1000 power

bank machines) or a one time fee of $5000 USD. Chargers Direct has a flat fee of $800 USD annually for all

software support, for an unlimited number of machines.

The Service

One interesting feature of Chargers Direct is that it helps clients to find profitable locations for power bank stations.

It also provides a six month warranty and can support clients in Latin America, Russia and the Middle East. Payment methods

for users include Google pay, Apple pay, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Debit cards, and Mir card payments.

The Price

Price per unit: $180 USD per machine

Software fee: $800 USD annually for an unlimited number of machines.

STW is one of the oldest power bank suppliers, established in 2008.

If you want a compact machine for office or restaurant use, then

consider STW. However STW does not provide exclusivity and doesn’t

assist its clients in finding good locations.

The Hardware

STW provides several models including one for small venues, a vertical

station for outdoor locations, and digital signage stations. STW power bank stations are relatively compact which are suitable

for counter top bars and tables. Battery color is either black or white but customization is possible for $20 extra per machine.

STW’s shared power bank stations comes in two styles: with a screen and without. Similar to other suppliers, STW offers a 10

inchLCS screen which can play advertizing at specific locations. However, STW’s battery is relatively low quality (5000 mAH)

compared to others in the market.

The Software

STW charges a one time fee of $4500 USD to develop the app that is

needed by consumers to access STW’s power banks. This is actually

better than many other suppliers because its a one time payment

not annual. STW also provides a backend view via a web link for you

to manage all data including orders, the status of stations, and

batteries.

The Service

STW provides an 18 month warranty for all of its products which is above average in the market. As mentioned it also charges

a one time fee of $4500 dollars for new clients. This covers the app development (if you want to provide users with an app)

and access to the back end management system.

The Price

Price per unit: $200 USD per unit ($170 USD for orders >100 units).

Replacement batteries: $9 USD for a low quality battery of 5000 mAh, $11 for a higher quality battery .

One time set-up fee: 4500 USD.

Baijie Charging is another major supplier. Although Baijie has a high quality battery, it is a relatively expensive supplier with

software fees costing up to $20,000 per year (if 1000 stations are ordered). A typical Baijie station costs $270 USD per

machine, excluding the cost of the card payment reader. If you would like to see client case studies from Baijie Charging,

you can contact us below.

The Hardware

Baijie has several models and originally focused on the QR code version (pictured

here) which is difficult to offer consumers outside of Asia. The strength of Baijie

is its battery (6000mAh). Battery color is available in either green or black.

However a higher quality battery is also heavier. The weight of the station is

10kg which means freight costs will be higher than other suppliers.

The Software

Every shared power bank station has a backend system which is used to monitor

the status and performance of the power bank machines. Baijie charges $1000USD

annually per 100 stations. If you would like to see examples of the Baijie software

and backend feel free to contact us with via the contact form below.

The Service

Baijie doesn’t assist it’s clients in identifying good locations

for shared power bank stations. However, Baijie does provide

a one year warranty for its products which is standard for all

suppliers. Remember, understanding which locations are

effective for power banks is more important than choosing a

supplier

The Price

Price per unit: $270 USD per unit (10% discount for orders exceeding 200 units).

Replacement batteries: $11 USD for <200 batteries, $10 USD >200 batteries.

One time set-up fee: $1000 USD annually per 100 stations..

Established in 2013, Relink is well known for supplying rental power bank companies in China. Although Relink is a good choice

if you are looking for outdoor power bank stations. However it is also the most expensive shared power bank supplier.

Relink currently has more than 300 clients so you should confirm if Relink is already supplying a company in your market.

The Hardware

Relink has a range of models from 6 slot to 24 slot machines, and 8 inch LCD screen to a

43 inch screens for outdoor events. Relink has three types of battery to choose from

which can be modified to other colors if at least 500 units are ordered. Although Relink

is considered a reliable supplier, a lack of customization unless high volume is orders

means your power bank design may be shared by competitors also using Relink

as a supplier.

The Software

Relink assist its clients in developing an app for consumers and has an administration panel to track the status and

performance of all power bank stations. provides good technical assistance and it’s backend management system allows

clients to understand revenue, user data and manage advertizing displays remotely. Prices for power bank rental can also be

adjusted based on location type, session length and usage time.

The Service

Relink provides a good warranty program of 14 months for the power bank station and 8 months for the battery. However, as

Relink has hundreds of clients globally, it cannot assist clients in finding profitable locations in which to place

power bank stations.

The Price

Price per unit: $352 per unit (minimum order quantity is 100) including six batteries.

Replacement batteries: $12 per battery

Software fee for backend: $6000 annually for every 100 power bank stations.

HeyCharge is an unusual power bank supplier in that it will purchase the card reader

payment device for it’s client but then it keeps 10% of total revenue generated.

This is a common approach in China whereby the power bank supplier keeps 10%

of the total revenue generated. However, it must be remembered that allowing an

external company to hold the revenue generated from your efforts to find busy

locations for power bank stations is a risk.

The Hardware

Compared to Relink and Baijie, both needing to improve the design of their power bank

stations, HeyCharge has delivered a streamlined design with a big screen that can be

used to display advertising at locations. The HeyCharge battery has a battery life

of at least 500 full charging cycles without compromising battery capacity.

The Software

HeyCharge power bank stations are able to track in real-time whether the power banks are in use, the remaining battery

percentage when the batteries are connected to cabinets, as well as total revenues generated.

The Service

HeyCharge provides a one year warranty for the station and

6 months for the battery. However, HeyCharge does not assist

its clients with finding locations for power bank stations.

The Price

Price per unit: $350 + 10% of all revenue generated from power bank stations. This price also does not include the card reader.

Replacement batteries: $10 per battery.

Software fee for backend: Free if you are willing to share 10% of the total revenue generated with HeyCharge.

Lita Power is another reliable supplier founded in 2014 with over 500 clients.
